- Can I record the sound from a tab?Yes, on Chrome, Edge and Brave: switch on Tab Sound in the Record tab and a This Tab recording includes the audio playing in that tab. Firefox cannot capture tab audio.Read article
- How do I pause, stop or discard a recording?A floating control bar appears after the countdown. It pauses and resumes, stops, mutes the mic, hides the camera and discards the take. Discarding is permanent.Read article
- Can I draw, blur and highlight while recording?Yes. While recording, the toolbar offers drawing tools, click-to-blur for any element on the page, and cursor effects that highlight clicks or spotlight the pointer.Read article
- Is there a recording time limit?No. Webshot records until you stop it. An optional auto-stop ends a recording after 1 to 60 minutes, and a storage check refuses to start when the disk is full.Read article
- What is Auto Zoom?Auto Zoom notes where you click during a tab recording so the video editor can zoom toward those spots automatically. It is on by default in Chromium browsers.Read article
- Why did a Webshot tab open while recording?That tab is the recorder. It holds the recording as it is written and closes itself once the recording is saved. Keep it open; closing it early can lose the recording.Read article
