Can I draw, blur and highlight while recording?

Yes. While recording, the toolbar offers drawing tools, click-to-blur for any element on the page, and cursor effects that highlight clicks or spotlight the pointer.

These tools work live, so what you draw or blur is in the recording as it happens. No editing pass needed.

Annotations

Select, Pen, Highlighter, Shapes (rectangle, circle and triangle, outlined or filled), Arrow, Text, Callout, Add Image and Eraser, with colour and stroke width. Undo with Ctrl+Z, redo with Ctrl+Shift+Z, or Clear All.

Blur elements

Choose Blur Elements and click any element on the page: a name, an email address, a table column. It stays blurred for the rest of the recording, even when the page scrolls. Clear All Blurs removes them.

Cursor effects

  • Default Cursor shows the pointer as it is.
  • Highlight Click flashes a ring on every click.
  • Highlight Mouse keeps a soft halo around the pointer.
  • Spotlight dims everything except the area around the pointer.
