Where are my files saved?

Downloads go to your browser's downloads folder. Preferences can add a subfolder, ask where to save each time, and put the site's name and a date in the filename.

Webshot saves through the browser's download system, so the destination is the same folder your browser uses for any download.

Storage settings

Preferences, then Storage:

• Download Subfolder keeps Webshot files in a folder of their own inside downloads.
• Prompt Save Location, on by default, opens a save dialog for each file so you can pick the folder and name.
• Include Website in Filename adds the site's name to the file, handy when you capture many pages.
• Date/Time Format chooses how the timestamp in the filename is written.

Recordings

A recording is not a file until you export it. Until then it sits in the browser's storage; see Where are recordings stored before export?. Exports from the editor download like any other file.
